Brown County Sheriff's Office Report: Feb. 24

The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:

On February 20, 2026, at 0916 hours, Deputy Hayden Donahoo was dispatched to a Found Property call at Main St in Brownwood, Tx 76801. Information and property were gathered on scene. A report was made.
On February 20, 2026, at approximately 1138 hours, Deputy Alexandria Sanchez was dispatched to Gilligan’s Trail in reference to a Scam. Deputy Sanchez spoke with the victim and reporting party, who advised they were being scammed by LINDA LAWSON (UNKSUSPECT). Information was taken, and a report was made.
On February 21, 2026, at approximately 0845 hours, Deputy Alexandria Sanchez was dispatched to N 183 in reference to a Theft. Zephyr Water Supply advised their water meter was stolen. Information was taken, and a report was made.
