Lester Marney, age 83, of Brownwood, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Lester was born December 14, 1943 in Afton, Oklahoma to Doyle David and Georgia Mae Marney.

Lester is survived by his brothers, Marvin, Jerry, and Delbert; sister, Alena Thomas (Eddie); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Chester Marney; sister, Modena Marlene Marney, and brother Otis Marney.
