Janice Myrlene Reeves

Janice Myrlene Reeves, 76, of Brownwood, passed away on February 10, 2026. She was born on November 19, 1949, in Comanche, Texas, to Murlin E. and Elmeree (Hicks) Elliott.

Janice graduated from Early High School and later earned a degree in cosmetology. She was also employed for many years at Stephenville Medical and Surgical Center, where she dedicated herself to her work and those she served.

On February 20, 1970, Janice married the love of her life, Robert Thomas Reeves, at Early Baptist Church. Together they built a life centered on family and faith and were blessed with two sons, Jayson and Zachary. Janice was a faithful and devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished grandmother.

Janice had a passion for photography and possessed a natural gift for capturing the beauty of nature. Her photographs reflected her appreciation for the world around her and her eye for finding beauty in everyday moments.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents Murlin and Elmeree Elliott, a sister Linda Janner and a brother-in-law Carl Janner.

She is survived by her husband Robert Reeves, son Jayson Reeves and wife Amy, son Zachary Reeves, sister Debra Reynolds and husband Ray, granddaughters Piper, Campbell, Laynie and Claira, sister-in-law Sherry Bailey and husband Michail, sister-in-law Tami Rodgers and husband Alan.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, on Monday, February 16, 2026, prior to the Funeral services at 2:00 pm in the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Eastlawn Memorial Park, Early, Texas.

In leu of flowers, memorials can be made to your choice of charity.

Arrangements are entrusted at Blaylock Funeral Home in Brownwood.
