Mary Wilder age 79 of May, Texas passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026. Her family will host a visitation on Sunday, February 15th from 3 -5 PM at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM, Monday February 16th at Jenkin Springs Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early.

Mary was born on April 25, 1946 in Brownwood, Texas to George Edgar and Mary Eaton. She attended school at Early ISD and was an Early High School graduate.

Mary and Robert Wilder were married in July of 2000 in Brownwood, Texas and began their life together, which blessed them with 5 sons and 3 daughters. She loved her family first and foremost, and also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, baking, and canning. She was always very involved in her church, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mary loved children and was employed with The Little Dude Ranch for around 30 years. She also loved her garden and all of her puppies.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Robert Wilder of May, Texas; son, Jimmy Squyres (Tina) of Early, Texas; son, Bobby Squyres of May, Texas; son, Sammy Squyres (Rhonda) of Magnolia, Texas; daughter, Melissa Hill (Troy) of Lake Brownwood, Texas; son, Jody Wiler (Melanie) of Early, Texas; daughter, Ann Wilder of Brownwood, Texas; son, Robert Wilder Jr. of Brownwood, Texas; daughter, Elizabeth Wilder of Coleman, Texas; sister, Ann Marie Edgar of May, Texas; 4 brothers, Clark, Bill, Sam, and Frank Edgar; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, George Edgar and Mary Lu Eaton; 3 great grandsons, 2 great granddaughters, and 1 nephew.
