Beverly G. Elliott was born on June 6, 1949, in Atlanta, Texas, to Raymond Belk and Marie Belk. She attended school in Atlanta, Texas, and later built a life centered around family, friends, and creativity.
Beverly married Charles “Mike” Elliott on April 24, 1992. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Belk and Marie Holland; her stepfather, Weldon Holland; her beloved daughter, Jeana Dodd; her husband, Mike Elliott; as well as her cherished fur babies and many close friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Ronda Dodd Butler of Brownwood; her stepdaughter, Amber Cortner; and step-granddaughter, Kristina Florentino of New Braunfels, Texas. She is also survived by her grandson, Shelby Williams and wife Hayley, and great-grandson MJ of Brownwood; grandson Brad Butler and great-grandson Conner Butler of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; and granddaughter Ashley Coles, great-granddaughter Aryia Frischman, and great-grandson Zamyr Coles of Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Beverly had a creative spirit and enjoyed making placemats, drawing, crafting, skating, and bowling. She worked as a manager at Skillets Restaurant and treasured time spent drinking coffee with friends. She loved helping others and found joy playing Bingo Monday through Friday at Oak Ridge Manor. Beverly had a special love for her fur babies, took great pride in her home, and especially enjoyed watching the movement of the water in her pool.
The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ranjana Nigalye her primary care physician, with thanks to Intrim and special thanks to Alicia, Ezbonie, and Chaplain Shane. They also extend sincere thanks to Oak Ridge Manor, with special appreciation to Forrest Blanton, Joie Hayden, Janette Waddle, Director of Nursing, and the staff of the Physical Therapy Department.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-7pm at Brownwood funeral home. A graveside service will take place on Friday, Feb. 13 at 2:30pm at Greenleaf Cemetery.
