MINERAL WELLS – In their final tune up before the start of District 5-4A soccer action Tuesday, the Brownwood Lady Lions chalked up a 3-0 road victory over the Mineral Wells Lady Rams Friday night.

Kynlie Lewis recorded a pair of goals for Brownwood (8-2-1), with assists from Khloe Galvan and Ailean Palacios. Meanwhile, Amerie De La Paz chipped in the third goal, thanks to Palacios’ second assist of the night.

The reigning 5-4A co-champion Lady Lions will welcome Lampasas at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday as they target a second straight league championship.
