
Zephyr Bulldogs 88, Mullin 31
ZEPHYR – The No. 25 Zephyr Bulldogs picked up their second District 25-A boys basketball victory in as many nights, cruising past Mullin, 88-31, Thursday.
Zephyr (20-7, 7-0) jumped out to a 18-11 lead after one quarter which stood at 35-22 at halftime and 67-31 through three periods, as the Bulldogs did not allow a point in the fourth period.
Scoring for Zephyr were Reese Hamm with 16 points trailed by 14 each from Ethan Prochaska and Bauer Blair, 11 apiece from Spencer Marwitz and Reid Hamm, nine from Cooper Walls, six from Troy Kubin, five from Slade Butler, and two points from Chayden Woodcock.
The Bulldogs are slated to visit Lometa Friday night.

Comanche 49, Early Lady Horns 36
EARLY – For just the second time in District 8-3A girls basketball action, the Early Lady Horns came up on the short end, falling to Comanche, 49-36, Thursday night
Early (21-9, 8-2) trailed 13-5 after one quarter, 24-15 at halftime, and 34-21 through three periods.
Aliyah Harland and Avery Williams paced Early with 11 points each followed by four from Kayleigh Torrez, three each from Mia Gomez and Andie Simpson, and two points each from Cali Vargas and Cassidy Frerichs.
The Lady Horns are slated to visit Breckenridge Friday night.
