RESCHEDULED

• The Justice of the Peace Office will be closed on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026. All hearings, court dates and/or appearances will be moved to Thursday, January 29th, 2026

• The Brown County Commissioners Court will now meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29 at the courthouse

• The Brownwood Lady Lions and Lions District 6-4A basketball games at Mineral Wells have been moved to Thursday starting at 5 p.m., varsity only

• The Early Lady Horns and Longhorns District 8-3A basketball games at Comanche have been moved to Thursday starting at 5 p.m., varsity only

• The Brownwood Lady Lions softball scrimmage against Wall has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday in Brownwood

• May’s home basketball games against Rising Star will be played Thursday beginning at 5 p.m.

• Bangs’ home basketball games against Winters will be played Thursday. Times to be determined.

• The Brownwood Lady Lions home soccer match against Burkburnett has been canceled.
