Brownwood ISD issued the following press release Wednesday afternoon:

Brownwood High School (BHS) HOSA students recently participated in the Area competition in Killeen, Texas. Students who placed included Kyle Recolizado (1st place Pharmacy Science), Emilee Evetts (4th place Medical Photography), Jaxson Delgado (2nd place Clinical Specialty), and Kaylie Valdez, Makayla Holland, and Kylan Perkins (4th place Mental Health Promotion).

The following students have qualified for State: Kyle Recolizado (Pharmacy Science), Jaxson Delgado (Clinical Specialty), Kaylie Valdez (Health Care Issues) and Jaleah Brew (Health Care Issues).
