GODLEY – The Brownwood Lady Lions’ string of seven unbeaten matches reached its conclusion Tuesday afternoon with a 5-0 road loss to No. 16 Godley.

Godley improved to 9-1 on the year, with its only loss coming to Henderson in the season opener, while Brownwood slipped to 6-2-1 overall.

The Lady Lions are next slated to host Fort Worth Castleberry at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the first home game of the season.
