
Early Lady Horns 63, Dublin 22
DUBLIN – The Early Lady Horns remained near the top of the District 8-3A standings Friday night with a 63-22 road triumph over the Dublin Lady Lions.
Early (19-8, 6-1) coasted out to a 12-5 lead after one quarter, which increased to 35-9 at halftime and stood at 50-15 after three periods.
The Lady Horns’ onslaught was sparked by 30 points from Gabby Benson, 16 from Aliyah Harlan, five from Cassidy Frerichs, four each from Andie Simpson and Avery Williams, and two points apiece from Cali Vargas and Mia Gomez.
Early opens the second half of District 8-3A competition at Millsap at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday.

May Tigers 65, Ira 48
MAY – The No. 17 May Tigers earned a 65-48 non-district home victory over Ira Friday night.
The Tigers (14-8, 4-0) trailed 16-11 after one quarter, but grabbed a 30-19 lead at halftime that grew to 52-32 after three periods.
Scoring for May were Jackson Lusk with 15 points, Kobey Morris with 13, Tyran Perry and Kaden Watkins with 12 apiece, Brody Stice with nine, and Mikey Scheriger and Kaiden Adams with two points apiece.
The Tigers next host Santa Anna at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Ira 44, May Lady Tigers 36
MAY – The May Lady Tigers came up on the short end of a 44-36 non-district contest against Ira Friday night.
May (21-7, 6-0) fell behind 15-13 after one quarter, led 25-21 at halftime, but faced a 35-31 deficit heading to the fourth period.
The Lady Tigers received 22 points from Jordyn Gerhardt, six from Cortney Harper, four from Chloe Lord, three from McKenna Landes, and one point from Lauren Hicks.
May is back in action at 6 p.m. Tuesday when it welcomes Santa Anna.

Dublin 94, Early Longhorns 85
DUBLIN – The Early Longhorns slipped to 2-2 against District 8-3A competition and 7-15 on the season with a 94-85 road loss at Dublin Friday night.
