The Boys & Girls Club of Brown County is proud to announce that the organization has been awarded a generous grant from the Panda Cares Foundation, the charitable arm of Panda Express. This funding supports Project Learn, an evidence-based educational program designed to reinforce academic enrichment and school engagement for local youth.
Project Learn helps students thrive by turning non-school hours into opportunities for high-yield learning activities. Through leisure reading, writing exercises, homework help, tutoring, and games that build cognitive skills, the program ensures that learning continues beyond the classroom. Project Learn creates a strong support system for academic success.
In addition to grant funding, the local Panda Express store demonstrated its commitment to the community by donating dinner for the Club’s December Teen Night. Panda General Manager, Gabriel Ortiz and his team members personally delivered the meal and spent time engaging with Club Teens, making the evening even more special.
The Boys & Girls Club of Brown County has been providing after school and summer programs for over 30 years. The Club invites the community to learn more about Project Learn and other Club programs that make a lasting impact on local youth. For more information, visit www.bgcbrowncounty.org.
