Donna Lafaye Lushbaugh passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025 with her loving husband of 53 years by her side. She was 75 years old.
Donna leaves behind her devoted and loving husband, Robert Edwin Lushbaugh, her brother, Roger Kyle Germany, Sister-in-law and dear friend (like a sister) Judy Germany, two nephews; Jay Kyle Germany and William Barns Germany, two great nieces; Emma joy Germany and Julia Elyse Germany. Last but not least, Donna’s Loving Shih Tzu Pandaman.
Donna was proceeded; in death by her Mother, Virginia Faye Germany and her Father Billy Kyle Germany.
Donna was born on January 19, 1950 in Borger, Texas. She graduated from Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma with a degree in Fine Arts. She was an accomplished artist and talented pianist. Donna taught art at Colorado Springs Community College in Colorado Springs, CO, on several Air Force bases, in the United States and overseas, where Bob was stationed. Donna taught art and piano, she absolutely loved her day’s fresh water and deep sea fishing with her husband and friends. She caught many citation fish up to 70 pounds, like Tuna, Maui Maui, White Marlin and Sail fish; she also won several fishing tournaments.
Donna had an infectious, personality, with a wonderful sense of humor! She stole our hearts… We will miss her greatly.
Life Honoring Ceremony for Donna will be held at Blaylock Funeral Home, 1914 Indian Creek Rd, Brownwood, Texas December 19,2025 at 7 pm in the chapel. Interment will be Monday December 22, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Holt Cemetery 724 CR 272 Rochelle, Texas
