
The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:
- On December 12, 2025, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, took a walk-in regarding Forgery. I spoke with the victim, information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On 12/15/2025, at 1258 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson was dispatched to the block of CR 347 for 4 dogs running at large and jumping on people. After investigation, Rebecca Dutton was issued a Dog Prohibited from Running at Large and 3 citations for unvaccinated dogs. Information was obtained, and a report has been made.
- On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 12:13 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff TJ Harrell was dispatched to Walnut Street, Brownwood, Texas 76801 for a male subject, who was trespassing. Jason Lee Lawson was observed on the property and was served a Criminal Trespass Warning. Information was gathered, and a report was generated.
- On 12/17/25, at approximately 1201 hours, Deputy Ethan Fox was dispatched to Cr 135, Brownwood, Tx 76801 regarding a theft. Deputy Fox spoke with Deenna Ramirez, who stated someone stole items from her mailbox, which were delivered on 12/15/25. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On 12/17/25, at approximately 1307 hours, Deputy Ethan Fox was dispatched to handle a walk-in complaint regarding fraud. Deputy Fox spoke with Torrey McClain, who stated someone has been using the bank account information associated with his business to make purchases. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On December 17, 2025, Seargent G. Smith was assigned call for service 25-039974 for Identity Theft. Seargent Smith spoke with Tammy Thomas. Thomas said she was made aware of fraudulent activity using her information to obtain a loan. Seargent Smith took Thomas’s information and filed a report.
- On 12/17/2025, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to handle a scam by phone. Deputy Geis called and spoke to Randal Boone, who claimed he was scammed. Deputy Geis met with Randal at the Brown County Sheriff’s Office to gather more information and to see the messages. Randal said he was scammed into using a fake app called Prime XBTUS. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On December 17, 2025, at 1608 hours, Deputy Hayden Donahoo was dispatched to a domestic in the block of Hwy 377 E. Prior to deputies arrival, the vehicle involved left the scene and started to head towards Comanche County. Comanche County was able to stop the vehicle and speak to both parties involved before releasing them. Information was gathered. A report was made.
