The holidays are here! As a special service for kids, Brookesmith ISD is hosting the “Lil’ Shopper’s Shoppe.” Children in grades Kindergarten through 12 have the opportunity to choose and purchase low-cost, high-quality gifts for mom, dad, brothers, sisters, grandma, grandpa, and others. Ms. Teresa Contreras, Librarian, arranges the displays and merchandise in the library, and teachers bring the kids in by class. Budget envelopes are available so that children can shop one day, record their choices, and return later in the week to make their purchases. Kids have the opportunity to experience the joy of surprising and giving gifts to those they love.
