Joseph (Joe) Randell Wall, 79, of Brownwood, Tx went to turn wrenches with his dad and Jesus on December 10, 2025.

Born in Midwest City, Ok. Joe raced into this world on September 6, 1946; son of Nathan Randell Wall and Dovey A. Wall. The family moved to Texas when Joe and his siblings were young, later settling in Brownwood, Tx.

Joe enlisted with the United States Army in 1964. While back home in Brownwood, he meet the love of his life Sandra Lee Gleaton, they married on January 22, 1968.

After serving 24 years, many trips around the world, one tour in Vietnam, and three children, the family moved back home to Brownwood.

Joe worked for Wal-Mart in the automotive department before working for Brownwood ISD, later retiring from Brownwood ISD.

Joe loved being in the garage. His passion and gift was working on vehicles, either his classic cars or helping friends with their vehicles. It was nothing for him to change a set of brakes for a handshake or a peach cobbler. Later in life he loved going out to the family property to feed his goats and tinker.

Left to cherish his memory, his wife of 57 years, Sandra Wall; daughter DeLische Ferguson and husband Ben Ferguson; son Nathan Ray Wall; daughter Brandi Martin and husband Joseph Martin; grandsons Hunter Wall, Patrick Root, Baine Martin, and Briggs Martin; sister Margaret Newton; countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Nathan Randell Wall and Dovey A. Wall; brother, Jerry Bob Wall; sisters-in-law’s, Elizabeth Hamilton and Donna Rogers; brother-in-law, Dennis Gleaton; and nephew, Bryan Smith.

Memorial will be held on:

December 27, 2025 10:30am-11:30am

Greenleaf Cemetery
