Dennis Snodgrass, 74, of Brady, Texas, passed away on December 13, 2025. He was born on February 10, 1951, in Brady, Texas to Elvis Irland Snodgrass and Mary Imogene (Smith) Snodgrass, and remained deeply connected to McCulloch County throughout his life. Dennis grew up in Brady and was a proud graduate of Brady High School. He married Christie Scott on June 15, 1974. Dennis graduated with a B.S. in Animal Science from Texas Tech University. After retiring from the Texas Department of Human Services, where he dedicated 22 years of service, Dennis devoted himself full time to raising club lambs, a passion he had long enjoyed and took great pride in.

Dennis was an avid sports fan and a familiar face in the stands. He especially loved watching his Brady Bulldogs football and track, cheering faithfully for his hometown teams. Girls’ basketball held a special place in his heart during the years his daughters played from Brady Junior High through High School, and he rarely missed a game, always offering support and encouragement. Dennis will be remembered as a devoted husband, a proud father and grandfather, and a loyal supporter of his community and its young athletes. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services for Dennis Snodgrass will be held Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 2:00pm at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady with Reverend Don Ziriax and Father Terry Brenen officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady. Friends may view Dennis’ Memorial Video Tribute and/or sign his online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Christie, and his three daughters: Stephanie Caffey, Kaylynn Young and her husband Greg, and Danielle Behrens and her husband Rhett. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Logan and Dylan Caffey; Caleb and Lexie Young; and Maggie, Hudson, and Emory Behrens. Also surviving Dennis are his siblings and their spouses, Steve and Edith Snodgrass, Becky and Brent Renfro, and Donnie and Ella Snodgrass, Aunts, Brenda and husband Don Ziriax, Susan Snodgrass, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Elvis Irland Snodgrass and Mary Imogne Smith Snodgrass. Memorial contributions in memory of may be made to the Brady Youth Sports Foundation, P. O.
