Lake Brownwood State Park conducted a prescribed burn on Thursday to further its natural resource management goals and reduce wildland fuels on the park. Nopales Ridge Trail was closed for use during the burn. Some camping areas, lodging areas, and day use areas were impacted by smoke during the burn and Park Road 15 was closed to traffic for short periods of time due to smoke conditions.
