The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of December 10:

LAKE BROWNWOOD

GOOD. Water stained; 57 degrees; 2.56 feet below pool. Black bass to 7.84 pounds are good in 3-18 feet of water on bladed jigs, crankbaits and jigs. Fish in the major creeks with jigs and spinnerbaits. Crappie are good to 10 inches on minnows and jigs on the main lake scattered brush piles in 12-18 feet of water. White bass are slow with fish to 1.50 pounds scattered around the main lake. Catfish are fair on jug lines with cut shad or perch.

LAKE CISCO

GOOD. Water normal stain; 56 degrees; 16.17 feet above pool. Cooler weather and passing fronts have brought north winds and occasional light rain to Lake Cisco, making conditions a bit tougher but still producing fish. Catfish remain the most consistent bite, with anglers catching good numbers on cut shad and punch bait around creek channels. Crappie action is slowly improving on brush and timber in 12-20 feet using minnows. Bass reports are light, but a few are moving shallow on warmer afternoons and hitting spinnerbaits and squarebills around rocks. Wind can make the lake choppy, so use caution.

LAKE COLEMAN

SLOW. Water stained; 55 degrees; 2.96 feet below pool. Bass are fair to 3 pounds on small finesse worms in 10-15 feet of water. Crappie good to 2 pounds on jigs and minnows in 10-15 feet of water on the main lake docks and in the timber towards the creek.

LAKE O.H. IVIE

FAIR. Water stained; 54 degrees; 18.92 feet below pool. Black bass are good for catches up to 5 pounds. Bass are in 8-18 feet of water hitting small minnow baits on underspins. Shake the minnows around schools of bass chasing suspended shad. Work ⅜ ounce and 1/2 ounce jigs in green pumpkin with blue on the bottom in the same areas. Fish are still hanging around grass in 12 feet of water on the main Lake. Umbrella rigs with a 3.25 minnow in electric shad is good good over the top of suspended fish. White bass are good jigging spoons off deep ledges in 25-35 feet of water in the main lake. Crappie are slow but reports of some still being caught on main lake deep trees along the river channels. Minnows working best. Catfish are good up the river with some reports of blue catfish up to 25 pounds on rod-and-reel baited with cheese bait and cut shad. Report by Wendell Ramsey, Ramsey Fishing.

LAKE PROCTOR

FAIR. Water stained; 54 degrees; 2.32 feet below pool. Crappie are on ledges in 18-21 feet. Bass have moved to deep ledges. Catfish have moved deep to 18-21 feet. Blue catfish to 54 pounds have been caught. Hybrids are in the upper end of the lake main river channel. The winter pattern has arrived. Report Juan Tienda, local angler.
