During Tuesday morning’s meeting, the Brownwood City Council approved accepting a pair of donations.

Wright Asphalt made a donation of $38,250 to the Brownwood Police and Fire Departments, as well as Sleep in Heavenly Peace and Hope Home Ministry.

Also, Revitalizing Our Community made a donation of $5,000 to the City of Brownwood to be used toward to improvements at the Bennie Houston Recreation Center, not associated with construction.
