Jennifer McKibben announces candidacy for Brown County Clerk

Jennifer McKibben recently filed as a candidate in the Republican primary for the Office of Brown County Clerk. “I am most excited about being the voice for the people”, she said. Mrs. McKibben brings extensive experience in County Government ranging from Administrative Assistant with law enforcement, Legal Assistant with Haynes Law Firm in Brownwood for over seven years. She has worked in family law, real estate law, estate planning including probates and is currently Assistant Court Coordinator of the 35th Judicial District Court. As Assistant Court Coordinator, she assists the District Court by executing duties delegated by the Judge of the Court and for the Court, to ensure the Court’s policies and procedures are followed. These duties include, but are not limited to, docket management and coordination, Liaison duties (communicating effectively and working with associated parties of the court), general court management, and professional development. This position also includes administrative duties.

Brown County is currently converting software vendors to Tyler Technologies. McKibben has experience and is very familiar with this system which will lead to a seamless transition. McKibben is active in her profession and is a member of the Texas Association of Court Administrators. Her and her husband have made Brown County their home for the last 14 years, where their two sons both graduated from Brownwood High School.

“If elected, a main goal will be to promote leadership that is transparent. I will be dedicated to Brown County values and always devoted to strong customer service. I would appreciate your support and vote and will always work for all citizens of Brown County.”
