Indulge in homemade chili, cornbread, and all the fixings while supporting local artists, at the annual Chili Supper and Art Sale on Friday, Dec. 5, from 4:30-6:30 at the Brownwood Art Center, 215 Fisk.

Tickets are $10, and can be purchased in advance at the Art Center, Tues-Thurs. from 2-6 pm.  Tickets will also be available Dec. 5 at the door.  All proceeds from this event will benefit Art Center operations and programs.

Brownwood Art Association President Brad Bradley reminds everyone to “Be sure to check out the art sale and silent auction items as well.  Most of the art is small or miniature, but there will be some special larger pieces included too.  These make unique gifts, or additions to your own collection.”

The Brownwood Art Association is always welcoming new members and volunteers.  Gallery exhibits change regularly, and special interest groups include Photography, Fiber and Textile Arts, People Painters, Open Studio, Creative Pen, and a Drum Circle.

The Art Center is also available to rent for private events.  For more information, visit brownwoodart.org, follow the BAA on Facebook, or call 325-641-2916.
