The American Red Cross Texas Big Country Chapter invites the Brownwood community to a reception welcoming the new executive director of the Texas Big Country Chapter. The come-and-go event will be held Monday, Dec. 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Family Services Center.

Community members, partners and local officials are encouraged to attend, meet the new executive director and the regional Red Cross CEO, and learn more about Red Cross services and volunteer opportunities across the Big Country.

“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to meet the community partners who make this area so strong. I’m also excited to learn how we can work together to support families across the Big Country,” said Liberty-Grace Bland, executive director of the Big Country Chapter. 

Guests will have the opportunity to learn about Red Cross services, including local disaster response, the Home Fire Campaign, Service to the Armed Forces, and lifesaving training programs.
