Brown County candidates for March 3 primary election

The following candidates, as of Friday morning, Nov. 21, have filed to run for office in Brown County in the March 3 Republican primary election:

  • Brown County Clerk: Jennifer McKibben, Vicky Jenkins
  • Brown County Judge: Incumbent Shane Britton, Patrick Howard
  • Brown County Judge at Law: Incumbent Sam Moss
  • Brown County Treasurer: Stacee Hetzel, David Becktold, Stephanie Jester
  • Brown County Commissioner Precinct 2: Incumbent Joel Kelton
  • Brown County Commissioner Precinct 4: Incumbent Larry Traweek, Doug Jester
  • Brown County Constable Precinct 1: Incumbent Dan Griffith
  • Brown County Constable Precinct 2: Incumbent Tye Langehenning
  • Brown County District Clerk: Incumbent Cheryl Jones
  • Brown County Justice of the Peace Precinct 1: Incumbent Mitchell Jacobson
  • Brown County Justice of the Peace Precinct 2: Incumbent Harold Hogan
  • Brown County Justice of the Peace Precinct 3: Troy Carroll
  • Brown County Justice of the Peace Precinct 4: Incumbent Ted Perez, John Hunter, Brandon McMillian

The filing deadline for primary candidates is 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8.

Early voting for the March 3 primary will be held Feb. 17-27.
