Bobby Dewayne Turner, 85, of Bangs, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025. Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM Monday, November 24th at Rocky Creek Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early.

Bobby was born on February 27, 1940, in Portland, Arkansas, to Robert and Dorothy Turner. In 1959, he married the love of his life, Geraldine Ann (Hebert) Turner. Together they built a devoted family and raised two sons, Michael and Jerry.

A proud United States Army veteran, Bobby honorably served his country and was a Vietnam Veteran. Following his military retirement, he continued his dedication to hard work and learning by studying Ranch Hand Management at TSTI College. He went on to manage a cattle ranch for twenty years, a role that perfectly suited his strong work ethic and love for the land. Bobby was also a Mason, a distinction he carried with pride.

Bobby will be lovingly remembered by his son Jerry Turner and wife Evelyn; his granddaughter Cheyanne Giles and husband Kyle; his great-grandson Turner Giles; and his great-granddaughters Hadley and Sadie Giles.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Geraldine Ann Turner, and his son Michael Turner.

Bobby leaves behind a legacy of service, dedication, and deep love for his family. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
