SAN ANGELO — Local standout junior shooter Kayli DeVusser delivered a commanding performance at the ASU Clays on the Concho event this past Saturday, sweeping the high school women’s division by winning all 3 events and solidifying her reputation as one of the region’s most formidable young competitors.
DeVusser not only secured the top spot among all high school female shooters, but she also posted the highest score of any high school participant, regardless of division. Her score placed her second overall in the entire event, surpassed only by one collegiate competitor—an achievement that drew praise from coaches, spectators, and fellow athletes alike.
DeVusser’s consistency and composure stood out across the competition’s challenging courses, which featured a variety of technical stations designed to test precision, timing, and adaptability.
With another major victory added to her season, DeVusser continues to build momentum as one of Texas’ rising talents in sporting clays—one whose performances are increasingly making an impact beyond high school competition.
She will return to competition this coming Saturday in San Antonio , carrying the confidence of yet another standout performance and a growing list of accolades.
