Brown County Sheriff’s Office Report: Nov. 17

The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:

  • On Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 16:20 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff TJ Harrell was dispatched to FM 1849, Brown County, Texas, 76823, regarding an animal complaint. Deputy Harrell spoke with a male subject, who stated he came home from work and discovered a dog, which was still on his property, had attacked and killed 60 of his chickens. The dog was transported to the Corine T. Smith Animal Shelter. Information was gathered, and a report was generated.
  • On November 11, 2025, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, was dispatched to Lewis St in Brownwood, TX regarding an animal complaint. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On November 13, 2025, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, responded to Vick Dr regarding a report of possible abuse. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On November 14th, 2025, at 0819 hours, Deputy Hayden Donahoo was dispatched to a civil standby at CR 477 in May, Tx 76857. Deputies arrived on scene and determined a theft had occurred. Information and pictures were gathered on scene. A report was made.
  • On 11/15/2025, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to Hog Creek Rd, Brownwood, TX 76801 regarding a domestic. Deputy Geis arrived and spoke to a Jack Walker, who said his wife, WALKER, GLENDA, assaulted him. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On 11/14/25, at approximately 2319 hours, Deputy Ethan Fox initiated a motorist assist in the block of W US 67. After making contact with the driver, SETTLES, RYAN, who had already exited the vehicle; Deputy Fox began speaking with the passenger, when SETTLES began urinating behind the vehicle. SETTLES was placed in custody for disorderly conduct and transported to the Brown County Jail. A report was made.
  • On November 16th, 2025, at 0802 hours, Deputy Hayden Donahoo was dispatched to a disorderly conduct call at Hwy 183 N in May, Tx 76857. Information and pictures were gathered on scene. A report was made.
