Warren Dean Brown, age 65 of Brady, Texas passed away November 12, 2025, in Brady TX. Warren was born July 16, 1960, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Charles M. Brown and Barbara A. (Ketchum) Brown. He grew up in Corpus Christi and graduated from Mary Carroll High School.

Warren was a resident of McCulloch County since 1994 and a 35-year retired employee of the Texas Dept. of Transportation. From natural disasters in Port Aransas to freezing weather in the Metroplex, Warren was always ready to volunteer for any assistance needed. Warren loved hunting season. He could not wait to start filling deer feeders and searching for the “big one.” He looked forward to his yearly Texas Varmint Hunting competitions with David and Justin. Warren got to enjoy making friends and calling bingo numbers at the local VFW on Thursday evenings. There was not much Warren would not do if someone needed help. If it were getting hay out of a field before it rained, to feeding stock for folks that would take a getaway. He loved his rodeo!! Back then, he looked forward to working the events when the Stan Guffy memorial youth rodeo would have its yearly event. Come December you could not get the remote control from his hand when the NFR would come on. Amongst his rodeo, hunting, and fishing shows, he loved watching WWE Wrestling. Us kids would have to get up earlier than him to watch Saturday morning cartoons, if not, he was watching his hunting and fishing shows. He married Peggy Sue Estes on April 15, 2011, in Brady. Peggy passed away in 2021. He married Marquita Robertson on January 2, 2023, in Brady. Warren will be greatly missed and remembered by many. He would want everyone to enjoy what they get to do outdoors.

A gathering to remember Warren Dean Brown will be held Monday, November 17, 2025, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady. Friends may view Warrens’ Memorial Video Tributer and/or sign his online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com.
