The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets wrapped up their first season under head Coby Gipson Saturday at Gordon Wood Stadium with a 65-9 loss to American Southwest Conference rival Mary Hardin-Baylor.

The Yellow Jackets finished the year with a 4-6 overall record and 2-4 mark against ASC foes, while the Cru improved to 7-3 and went 5-1 in league play.
