Elizabeth Darlene Minshew, age 78, of Bangs, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. A visitation will be held Friday, November 14 from 5 to 7 PM at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 15 at 10 AM at Grosvenor Baptist Church with interment to follow at Blake Cemetery.

Darlene was born on March 17, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Albert Perry Ketron and Margie Marie Thompson. She later went on to marry her husband, Cecil Wayne Minshew, on August 10, 1962 in Dallas. Darlene was a long-time florist and enjoyed cross stitching, creating floral arrangements, and spending time with her family. She attended Grosvenor Baptist Church in Grosvenor, Texas.

Darlene is survived by her sons; D. Wayne Minshew, Victor Shane Minshew and spouse Maegan, and Josh Minshew and spouse Tamara: 16 grandchildren: 16 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Perry Ketron and Margie Marie Tompson, brothers, John and Bud Ketron, and sisters, Teresa Guthrie and Elaine Ruff.
