The University Interscholastic League released the following press release Monday:

The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Monday to issue penalties for potential UIL rule violations.

Zephyr High School Head Girls Basketball Coach Dara Chandler was found guilty of recruiting violations and was issued a 10-game suspension, two years probation, and a public reprimand.

Additionally, Zephyr ISD was directed to complete additional UIL rules training for all coaches.

Zephyr ISD had no comment when reached by BrownwoodNews.com Tuesday.
