Bruce C. Hoffman, age 76, of Brownwood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00PM on Wednesday, November 12, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. A funeral service for Bruce will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, November 13, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood.

Bruce was born on July 30, 1949, in Brownwood to Syble and Marvin Hoffman. Bruce served in the United States Marines and was honorably discharged as a combat veteran. He attended Sam Houston College and received an Associate’s Degree. He married Rosa Hoffman in 1972. Bruce was a carpenter for a number of years before he became a truck driver for many years. Bruce enjoyed reading, traveling, attending AA group, and most of all, spending time with his family.

Bruce is survived by his children, Tara Hoffman, Stephanie Phillips, and Bruce Hoffman Jr.; 7 grandchildren, Kalisha, Jason, Steven, Kody, Miranda, Christy, and Payton; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Sheila Seale; and nephew, Todd Seale.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Hoffman; parents, Marvin and Syble Hoffman; and brothers, Dennis Hoffman and Stephen Hoffman.
