
The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:
- On November 5, 2025, at approximately 0921 hours, Deputy Alexandria Sanchez was dispatched by public service to a found property. The found property was an iPad with a keyboard. The iPad belonged to the Center for Life Resources. The property was released to the owner. Information was taken, and a report was made.
- On November 5th, 2025, at 1143 hours, Deputy Hayden Donahoo was dispatched to a reckless driver call at the intersection of FM 1850 and CR 105 in Brownwood, Tx 76801. Information was gathered on scene. A report was made.
- On November 5, 2025, at approximately 1151 hours, Deputy Alexandria Sanchez was dispatched to a walk-in at the Brown County Law Enforcement Center referencing a scam. Deputy Sanchez spoke with the Maria Vasquez Salazar (Victim,) who was involved in a scam. Information was taken, and a report was made.
- On 11/05/2025, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to Highway 279 North, Brownwood, TX 76801, the Family Dollar/ Dollar Tree, for a disorderly conduct. Deputy Geis was informed CULP, MARY was yelling and cussing after being upset she was not able to purchase cigarettes for a dollar. Tammy Mcada, the assistant manager, requested CULP be criminally trespassed from the store. Deputy Geis was able to serve CULP with a criminal trespass warning. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On 11/05/2025, Deputy John Geis responded to a call for an Agency Assist. Deputy Geis was informed by dispatch Mills County was currently in a pursuit, which was heading into Brown County. The suspect vehicle, a black Chevrolet Tahoe, was actively evading Mills County Deputies. Deputy Geis was able to deploy stinger spikes and assist in the pursuit. The male suspect, a possible HONEY, DRAYVEN, was wearing a black jacket with possible white or red lettering on the back, a white shirt and blue jeans. The vehicle came to a stop at the intersection of Williams Dr and US 183 South, next to the Early Police Department. HONEY evaded on foot after the vehicle came to a stop. Brownwood PD and Early PD assisted Deputies in attempting to locate HONEY, but it was unsuccessful.
- On 11/4/2025, at 2010 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson conducted a traffic stop in the block of Highway 67W on a grey, 2008 Ford F-150 for a defective tail lamp. After investigation, the driver of the vehicle, David Dill, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Mills county. While inventorying the vehicle, narcotics were located. David Dill was also placed into custody for Possession of a controlled substance Pg1 >=1g<4g, Possession of a Controlled substance Pg2 >= 1G<4G, Fraudulent possession of Credit/Debit card =>5<10, and Possession of Marijuana. Information was gathered, and a report has been made.
- On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 06:24 hours, Sgt Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to Monaghan Dr regarding an animal complainant. Dispatch advised the complainant, Shelley Denys, said her neighbor’s dogs have been coming onto her property and being aggressive. Upon arrival, contact made with Egger. After further investigation, the owner of the dogs was identified as Darrell Egger, and he was issued Dog prohibited from Running at Large paperwork. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On 11/04/2025, at 1737 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson was dispatched to Hobbs Ln. to take a report of animal cruelty. After speaking with the reporting party, Eddy Walley, someone between the hours of 4pm and 430pm, 11/04/2025, dropped off a dead dog inside a black trash bag outside their residence. Information was obtained, and a report has been made.
- On 11/04/2025, at approximately 2349 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Madeline Reigle was contacted by dispatch regarding Harassment. Deputy Reigle spoke with the victim, who stated their estranged ex-spouse randomly began sending harassing text messages to the victim. The victim stated they believed the suspect to be intoxicated and revealed they had not spoken in over a year. The victim expressed concerns for their safety, as the suspect has engaged in this behavior before, traveled to the victim’s home while intoxicated, and threatened the victim. The victim stated the suspect had been continuously sending text messages, even after being asked to stop. A report was made, and evidence was collected for further investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
