Jay Randal (Randy) Garner went to be with Jesus, loved ones and John Wayne on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Randy was born September 4, 1948, to Wilburn “Sleepy” and Arliss (Crutcher) Garner in Coleman, Texas.

Randy was known for his generous and loving nature, kind spirit and enjoyment of games of Bingo, Wahoo and card games. He was hard to beat! He liked to make people laugh. While he was plagued with health issues most of his life, he is now well and whole.

Randy is survived by his loving family Barbie and Keith Hall, Diane Booth, Christine and Jeremy Moore, Tim Broun, Chris and Shouna Hathcock, Michael and Sarah Hall, Joshua and Stephanie Hall, Cheryl Hall, Brian and Chira Hall, Michael and Mary Hathcock, Jimmy and Audrey Lewis, Ludy Bryan and many great nieces and nephews including special great nieces Lolli and Ava.

He is preceded in death by his parents and older brother Gene Garner.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 3-5pm at Blaylock Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, November 10, 2025, at 2 PM at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood, Texas followed by graveside at Rocky Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Randy’s wishes would be memorials made to your favorite animal  charity.

Funeral is under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
