Brown County Grand Jury Indictments October 2025

According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, during the October 2025 session of the Brown County Grand Jury, 26 true bills were returned against 22 persons.

Those indicted were:

  • Cindy Waggoner aka Cindy Jo Waggoner: Possession of a controlled substance with into deliver – deadly weapon; Possession of a controlled substance with into deliver – deadly weapon
  • Heather Marie Bentley aka Heather Marie Smith: Possession of a controlled substance with into deliver – deadly weapon
  • Jared Benjamin Smith: Possession of a controlled substance with into deliver, repeat offender
  • Stetson Lee Wayne Walls: Evading arrest, repeat offender
  • Shelly Rene Demyan aka Shelley Rene Monroe: Possession of a controlled substance
  • Jonathan Ross Colston: Possession of a controlled substance – drug free zone
  • Tony Aguilar: Possession of a controlled substance – drug free zone, repeat offender
  • Brianna White: Possession of a controlled substance
  • Logan Phillip Smith: Possession of lewd visual material
  • Lamar Shea Ross: Evading arrest; Continuous violence against the family
  • Gabriel Don Rotramel: Driving while intoxicated with a child passenger
  • Arthur Villarreal: Driving while intoxicated 3rd or more, repeat offender
  • Roel Palacios: Felon in possession of firearm, habitual offender
  • Alexis Marie Garcia: Assault on a public servant

The District Attorney’s Office does not release names on new indictments until after the Grand Jury proceedings have been processed through the District Clerk and a file marked copy of the Grand Jury Report has been returned.

The District Attorney’s Office does not release names of Defendants who have been indicted by a Grand Jury but not yet arrested because of an indictment being sealed until the time of arrest. In addition, names of individuals who have had no formal charges filed against them and who are no-billed by a Grand Jury will not be released by the District Attorney’s Office at this time.
