
EARLY – The playoff-bound Early Lady Horns put the finishing touches on one of the most successful volleyball regular seasons in program history with a 25-9, 25-4, 25-14 home victory over Dublin Friday afternoon.
The playoff position out of District 8-3A has not yet been finalized for Early (28-7, 10-4), which on Friday received 10 kills from Jensyn Rasor, five each from Aubrie DeVillier, Ellie Shea and Kailyn Gallardo, and two from Grey Pruett.
Pruett logged 14 assists, Cassidy Frerichs finished with eight, and Gallardo was credited with one.
Pruett also served seven aces, Rasor contributed four, and DeVillier added one.
Defensively, DeVillier led the way with 12 digs trailed by Pruett and Gallardo with 10 apiece, Rasor with six, Gabby Benson with four, Frerichs with three, and Tiffany Phelps and Jamie Lyon with one each.
At the net, Rasor recorded Early’s only block.
