After qualifying for state for the first time in 30 years back in 2023, the Bangs Dragons Marching Band is headed back to the state competition in 2025.

Bangs finished among the top three bands at the area competition in Mineral Wells Saturday to earn another trip to the Alamodome in San Antonio.

The Class 2A state preliminaries will take place the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 4, and final will be in the evening.
