J. D. Drosche went home to his Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 26, 2025. He was a godly Christian man who spent his life caring for others. He loved introducing his children and grandchildren to the outdoors he enjoyed so much and teaching them his crafts. He built many structures in his life, including custom homes. His three sons followed in his footsteps.

His parents raised their children on a farm where they had wonderful childhoods and learned respect and responsibility. The family moved to Austin when J.D. was a young man, and there he met Margaret Ann Young, whom he married on February 16, 1963. They had three sons, Andy, Jon, and Jason, and thereafter adding many adopted children to the loving home. Having spent most of his life in Texas, he moved his family to Coarsegold, California, 35 years ago. During those years, he was a member of Coarsegold Reformed Fellowship, where he was a trustee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Alton (Sonny), sisters Mildred Marshall and Joyce McDonald, several cousins, his son Andy, and daughters Rachel, Anna Leigh, and Laura. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret Ann, his sons Jon Drosche (Tammy), and Jason Drosche (Lawana) of Goldthwaite Texas, John Drosche of Marble Falls, Will Drosche (Kathryn), of Coarsegold, daughters Shruti Childs (Mike) of

J.D. was delighted to be called Granddaddy.
