Brown County Sheriff’s Office Report: Oct. 23

The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:

  • On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at approximately 0137 hours, I, Sergeant Francisco Valencia with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, assisted Brown Count Deputy Sheriff Thomas Beloat on a traffic stop. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. Illegal narcotics and a firearm were located. Both occupants of the vehicle were convicted felons. Both occupants of the vehicle were placed into custody for Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon and Possession of Controlled Substance. A report was made.
  • On October 21, 2025, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, was dispatched to CR 211 in Brookesmith regarding a criminal mischief. Information was gathered, photos were taken, and a report was made.
  • On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 11:54 hours, Sgt Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to Sandy Beach Rd lot #2 regarding a stolen package. Dispatch stated the caller, Shelly Dyer, was supposed to receive a package on Sunday, October 19, 2025, and has never received it. Upon arrival, contact was made with Dyer. Information was gathered, and a report was taken.
  • On 10/22/2025, at 0317 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson conducted a traffic stop on a grey 1995 Ford F-150 for an obstructed license plate at Belle Plaine and Hickory. After investigation, the driver of the vehicle Bernardo Dominguez was arrested for driving while license invalid without insurance. Information was gathered, and a report has been made.
  • On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, Lt. Pete Bastardo was dispatched to the Family Dollar store located at Hwy 279 regarding an unwanted subject. It was later discovered SABRA WEBB had attempted to steal items. The assistant manager advised the store only wanted a criminal trespass warning issued to WEBB. WEBB was located and issued the criminal trespass warning.
  • On 10/22/2025, at approximately 1132 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Madeline Reigle was notified of a burglary, which had already occurred. Deputy Reigle spoke with the complainant, who stated her father was currently residing in an assisted living facility, due to a fall. The complainant’s brother, who is recently deceased, had been staying with the victim at the victim’s property to provide care. The complainant alleges associates of the descendant burglarized the victim’s home, stealing a TV, computer tower, and a Blue Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck. The suspect admitted to stealing the truck to deputies on scene but claimed to be the descendant’s daughter. This is a false claim. The pick-up truck was recovered by deputies. Evidence was collected, and a report was made for further investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
  • On October 22, 2025, at 1452 hours, Deputy Thomas Beloat with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Walnut St. regarding theft of a boat. Information was gathered, and a report was completed.
  • On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at approximately 16:16, Sergeant G Smith was assigned Call for Service #25-033830. Dispatch advised K. Baur called and reported items were bought from Walmart using his account and credit card number and was requesting a phone call. Sergeant Smith went to the Baur’s residence and took a report for CREDIT/ DEBIT CARD ABUSE, a State Jail Felony.
  • On 10/20/2025, at 1845, Deputy Michel Wilson conducted a follow up with Donald Null Jr in reference to stolen property from his yard located at Lake Shore Dr. Information was obtained, and a report has been made.
  • On 10/20/2025, at 2148 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson conducted a traffic stop in the block of Santa Fe in Bangs on a blue 2001 GMC Sierra for expired registration. After investigation, the driver of the vehicle, William Boston, was arrested for driving while license invalid without proof of insurance. Information was obtained, and a report has been made.
