
EARLY – The playoff-bound Early Lady Horns volleyball team was derailed Tuesday as they were dealt a 25-21, 25-10, 25-23 road loss at District 8-3A rival Tolar.
The Lady Horns slipped to 27-7 on the season and 9-4 in league play with the regular season finale set for 4 p.m. Friday at home against Dublin.
Against Tolar Tuesday, Jensyn Rasor led the Lady Horns with eight kills followed by five from Aubrie DeVillier, three from Ellie Shea, and one each from Grey Pruett and Kailyn Gallardo.
Pruett finished with 11 assists and Cassidy Frerichs added four, while Pruett also served four aces and Rasor contributed a pair.
Defensively, Frerichs logged 12 digs followed by 10 from DeVillier, nine from Pruett, six from Gabby Benson, five from Gallardo, four from Rasor, three from Jamie Lyon, and one from Shea.
At the net, Shea collected three blocks, two came from DeVillier, and Pruett was credited with one.
