On October 11, 2025, Jessie Margaret Reynolds Musgrove of Gatesville, Texas, walked painlessly through the gates of heaven to meet her Lord. On her last day on this earth, she was surrounded with love by her son, Michael and her eldest granddaughter, Melissa.

Jessie was born to George Dossie and Margaret Isabell (Jordon) Reynolds on November 21, 1933, in Blum, Texas. She was the Captain of her high school basketball team in Blum. Jessie married Kenneth Ray Musgrove on May 1, 1952. They had 3 children. She loved flowers, being in the garden and animals. If she spotted a weed, it had to be pulled. Jessie, also known as “Granny” loved caring for her grandchildren during summer visits. She will be remembered by spending hours in the garden picking black-eyed peas, green beans, okra and more with her granddaughter, Melissa.

Jessie is preceded in death by parents, George Dossie and Margaret Isabell (Jordon) Reynolds; husband, Kenneth Musgrove; son, Douglas Dwayne Musgrove; six sisters, Betty Nell, Mary Rosalee (Rosey), Eunice Viola, Neva Viola, Edna, and Josie; and three brothers, William, Odell, and James.

She is survived by her son, Michael Ray Musgrove of Gatesville, TX; daughter, LT Vickie Diane Musgrove U.S. Navy (Retired) of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Melissa Gale Gore (Musgrove) of Magnolia, TX and Stephanie Elise Langton (Musgrove) of League City, TX; 4 grandchildren, Nathaniel Glenn and Aaron Matthew Gore and Shelby and Ethan Langton; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Oakview Cemetery, Mullin, Texas. Interment Oakview Cemetery, Mullin, Texas. Arrangements by Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home, Goldthwaite, Texas.
