Benjamin Hinojosa

Benjamin Hinojosa, 49, of Early, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at home. A visitation with Benjamin’s family will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 14, 2025. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 15, 2025 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.

Benjamin was born July 23, 1976 in Breckenridge, MN to Paulo and Dora Hinojosa. He graduated from Brownwood High School and worked in road construction for lite & barricade company. Ben loved road trips, animals, cruising around and hanging with the homies admiring classic cars and trucks. He loved to have a cook out and invite friends and family. Basketball with his brothers & nephews sipping a cold one. He was a jokester and loved to make everyone laugh. He was a good provider, leader and loved Monica, Jasmine and all of his family and friends with all of his heart.

Benjamin is survived by his partner in life, Monica DeLeon; daughter, Jasmine Hinojosa; step-son, George Austin; his furry four-legged child that he called Jasmine’s brother, the puppy, Canelo; Sisters, Sylvia Jones of Frisco, Judy Hinojosa of McKinney, Connie Solis and husband Robert of Brownwood, Julie Allred and husband James of Brownwood, Maggie Dominguez of Krum, Tx; brothers, Frank Hinojosa, Jerry Hinojosa and wife Mary, and Paul Hinojosa and wife, Mariza. Johnny Hinojosa and wife Andrea all of Brownwood, Chris Hinojosa of Granite Shoals and Michael Hinojosa and Travis of Shasta, Minnesota; granddaughter, Mylene of Meridian, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of friends.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents, Paulo A. and Dora Hinojosa; nephew, Tristen Allred; and another dog/son, Ponchito.
