Early’s annual Movie in the Park set for Oct. 11

The Early Visitors & Events Center is thrilled to invite you to our annual Movie in the Park event on Saturday, October 11, at McDonald Park, 101 Park Drive, Early, TX. The fun begins at 6:00 PM with an exciting lineup of games, crafts, and activities for all ages! Enjoy complimentary popcorn, s’mores, and drinks, along with mechanical bull riding, photo ops, bubble blast inflatables, and a variety of food trucks on-site for dinner options.

This year’s event will feature a costume contest with divisions for kids, adults, and families, where winners will receive prizes generously donated by local businesses. Be sure to dress up and participate before we kick off the movie! We’ll be showing the classic The Haunted Mansion (2003) at approximately 7:30 PM.

Highlights of the event include:

  • Fun activities and games

  • Free candy from community booths

  • Free Mechanical bull riding

  • Free Inflatable bubble blast and bounce house booth

  • Food trucks available for dinner purchases- Regios Tacos y Antojitos, Pogue Farm, Lemongrass Asian Cuisine boba’s tea trailer, and Elotes La Granja

  • Costume contest with prizes for kids, adults, and family groups

  • Outdoor screening of The Haunted Mansion (2003)

  • Photo-op opportunities

We’d like to extend a special thank you to Brown County Medical Reserve Corps for providing and popping the popcorn, Chicken Express for the tea, Kanar RV Sales for the water, Jones Double H Ranch for the ice coolers, Lucky T Ranch for the hay, and Hardwicks Farmers Market & Nursery for the pumpkins.

While the event is free and open to the public, we kindly ask attendees to register online at www.visitearlytexas.com so we can plan accordingly.

Grab your blankets and lawn chairs, and join us for an unforgettable evening of family fun!
