Call for Entries: 2026 Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit

The Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit Committee invites artists from across the region to enter the 28th Annual Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit, to be held at the historic Brownwood Depot Civic and Cultural Center.

More than $7,000 in awards will be presented across multiple categories, recognizing excellence in a wide range of artistic media. The annual Stars of Texas Exhibit continues to be a highlight of the Central Texas arts calendar, celebrating creativity and connecting artists and art lovers alike.

Texas artists aged 15 and up are eligible for entry. Artists are strongly encouraged to pre-register online at www.starsoftexasjuriedartexhibit.com.

Artwork Intake Dates:

  • Friday, January 31, 2026 — 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 1, 2026 — 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Judging will take place Saturday, February 1, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., with results posted at the Depot and on social media by 4:00 p.m.

The Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit celebrates Texas artists of all skill levels with a professionally judged show featuring painting, sculpture, photography, and more. Held each February at the Brownwood Depot, the exhibit brings together artists and art lovers from across the state for two weeks of creativity and community.
