The City of Brownwood and the Brownwood Municipal Development District issued the following press release:

On Friday, October 10, at 2:00 PM, the Kohler Company will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Kohler Brownwood Manufacturing Plant. The ceremony will take place at Kohler Brownwood, with entry from the Burnett Road side of the plant. The event will be held at the traffic circle by the Kohler Medallion.

The celebration will recognize five decades of partnership, innovation, and community impact. The program will feature remarks from Kohler representatives, a proclamation reading by Mayor Stephen E. Haynes honoring Kohler’s contributions to Brownwood, a presentation from the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, and a special announcement from Kohler.

The City of Brownwood and BMDD are proud to celebrate Kohler’s long-standing investment in our community and its role in driving Brownwood’s economic growth over the past 50 years.
