Baby Brielle Ann Kirk was born September 16th, 2025, in Abilene, Texas, and after a courageous 10 days filled with love, faith, and the prayers of many, she was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on September 26th, 2025.
She was the beloved daughter of Brittiany Kirk and Elliot Kirk of Abilene, Texas. Though her time on earth was brief, Brielle left a lasting impact. She was a fighter—resilient and strong—and in her short life, she brought awareness to Trisomy 18, a rare genetic condition affecting 1 in 5,000 babies. Her journey became a lesson in grace, courage, and the power of unconditional love.
Brielle is deeply loved and mourned by her parents, big brother Elijah T. Kirk, and big sister Brilee Mae Kirk. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents Lisa and Scott Carpenter of Tuscola, Texas, and paternal grandfather Rev. Ernest Kirk of Brownwood, Texas; her aunt Jenna Robertson (Ryan) of The Colony, uncle Garrett Boyer of California, uncle Todd Kirk (Lauren) of Brownwood; cousins Hutton W. Brown and Eila Mae Kirk; and great-grandparents Mary Rutkowski of The Colony, Dorthy Robertson of Plano, Texas Becky Carpenter of Abilene, and a host of extended family and dear family friends who loved her fiercely.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Philip Robertson; paternal grandmother, Adelia Mae Kirk; great-grandfathers, Charles Robertson and Ronald Rutkowski; and great-grandmother Bernice Kirk.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., officiated by her grandfathers, Scott Carpenter and Rev. Ernest Kirk.
“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.”
— Psalm 127:3
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
— Matthew 19:14
Though she was with us for only a short time, Brielle’s perfect little life touched hearts and changed lives. She will be forever missed, always remembered, and eternally loved.
