Sammy Paul Everett, age 59, of Burnet, Texas, passed away on September 3, 2025. A visitation for Paul will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Blaylock Funeral Home in San Saba. A celebration of life will follow the visitation and begin at 2:00 p.m. and will be officiated by Pastor Jeff Rickel. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home in San Saba.

Paul was born on March 22, 1966, in San Saba, Texas, to Billy Don Everett and Patricia Weathers Everett. He grew up in San Saba and spent much of his life fishing, hunting, working as a truck driver, and owning several successful businesses. While he faced challenges in his life, Paul was incredibly generous and kindhearted. He would give the shirt off his back to someone in need, and nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his children and grandchildren, who were the center of his world.

He is survived by his father, Billy Don Everett; his brother Billy Devin Everett and his wife Stacey Everett; his children, Amber Genae Everett and her husband Billy Gonzales, Samantha Kate Reed and her husband Jared Reed, and Don Paul Everett; the love of his life, Christie Holland Everett; and by his grandchildren, Ethan Lane Gonzales, Chassidy Lynn Gonzales, Peyton Wyatt Blake, and Patricia Evelynn Kate Everett.

His was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Weathers Everett, and his oldest son, James Parker Everett.

Paul will be remembered for his fierce love for his family, his adventurous spirit, and the unconditional love that will never be forgotten.

“Keep on trucking…”
