Elbert Ernest “Ernie” Turner, age 77, of Novice, died peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Hendrick Medical Center North in Abilene. At Ernie’s request, no formal service will be held. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.
