Dewayne was born on Thursday, December 3, 1959 in Levelland, Texas to Wayne Milton and Mary Frances Teague. He graduated from Rising Star High School. Later in life Dewayne married Pansy Teague on November 27, 2003 and together their union was blessed with 5 children. Dewayne loved to fishing, watching football and spending time with his family.

Dewayne is survived by his wife Pansy Teague of May, Texas; his mother Mary Frances Allen Teague; sons, Billy and Nicholas Geiger of May, Adam Allen of Vancouver, Washington, Denny Lewis of Houston, Texas area and A. J. Schnake of Harrisburg, Illinois; daughters, Latisha Way of Brownwood, Texas and Laura Davies of Settle, Washington area; sisters, Nelda Brault and Inell Brown; 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father Wayne Milton Teague and sister Renee Hunter.
