Event organizers at The City of Brownwood are proud to announce an expanded music lineup featuring a new secondary stage that is being curated by Brownwood’s own Pioneer Tap House at the second annual Feels Like Home Festival on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
With festival GA and VIP tickets already on sale for the highly anticipated Year 2 event at www.FeelsLikeHomeFest.com, festival-goers are encouraged to secure their passes now, as prices are set to increase as the festival date approaches.
In addition to previously announced Main Stage headliners Randy Rogers Band, Pat Green, Josh Abbott Band, and Stoney LaRue, the second stage will spotlight Central Texas artists with deep community roots, several of whom are returning after standout performances at last year’s debut.
This year’s lineup for the Pioneer Tap House Stage includes:
- The Cadillac Thieves (Brownwood, TX): Southern rockers known for gritty guitar riffs and high-energy live shows
- Ripken (Brownwood, TX): Indie rock band blending heartfelt lyrics with dynamic, hook-driven performances
- Brian Pounds (Austin, TX): Singer-songwriter delivering Americana storytelling with soulful, modern edge
- Mason & The Mercenaries (Brownwood, TX): Local faves bringing a crowd-pleasing mix of Texas country, classic rock, and party anthems
Festival organizers also unveiled plans for the return of the community-wide celebration, Downtown Preview Night, taking place the day before the festival on Friday, October 3. Designed to extend the festivities across the full weekend, Downtown Preview Night once again invites locals and out-of-towners alike to explore Brownwood’s growing downtown district.
Participating businesses will offer extended hours, food and drink specials, refreshments, live music, and exclusive discounts to welcome festival-goers to town, with a full schedule to be revealed in the coming days via Feels Like Home Festival’s social media channels.
This expanded lineup and community programming builds on the festival’s mission to celebrate Texas culture through music, barbecue, and small-town hospitality, creating an unforgettable weekend for visitors and locals.
“From day one, this festival has been about putting Brownwood on the map as a destination for great music, food, and community,” said Festival Director Steve Clayton. “We’re thrilled to double down on our local roots this year with the Pioneer Tap House stage and a new opportunity for local businesses to share in the weekend celebrations.”
The Brownwood Event Center, a renovated 1920s industrial space now transformed into a premier venue with a sprawling open-air lawn, will soon play host to the second annual festival, offering a perfect backdrop for two-stepping, relaxing outdoors, and soaking in the sounds and flavors of Texas.
Attendees can also expect an immersive experience with vendors on display, family-friendly activities, and the warm small-town charm that made Feels Like Home an instant fall tradition.
The full festival schedule and main stage set times will be announced in the coming days. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned to www.FeelsLikeHomeFest.com and @FeelsLikeHomeFest on social media for the latest updates.
